I started dating this guy, we'll call him "Joe" about two years ago. For the first few months of dating, everything was great as it usually is in the beginning. I did notice that he had a lot of female friends on Facebook. I don't have a Facebook account, but he used to scroll through it on his phone with me next to him. One day, about a month or two into our relationship, he was at my house and received a call and spoke with a female friend of his who was in a female prison or halfway house. I tried not to listen in, but at the end of the call he said (right in front of me, not hiding anything) "I love you! Bye!" He then told me a sad story about this woman who had been his friend for decades, who had been incarcerated for holding drugs. He said that she didn't do anything wrong, and he "had no reason not to believe her." I think that is naive of him, but whatever. He told me they had never been romantically involved. He told me he was sending her some money, and that she was looking for an iPod or something for music. I had an old iPod, but it wasn't new enough for her, in his opinion. Over the next few months, he kept talking about her, explaining how they met, how his friend had dated her. He told me about her ex-husband and children. He told me how she'd looked the last time her saw her (how she looked like she was on drugs, etc.). When we were together for about five months, she was released. She messaged him through Facebook while we were at my house, and they had a little back and forth, exchanging numbers. He did say that he was "at his girlfriends house," and showed me her picture, saying she used to be prettier. Since then, he's completely stopped talking about her. I started noticing when we were scrolling through his Facebook that her name kept popping up in posts and messages, and he would quickly swipe them away. Fast forward to now - I bought a house, and he's moved in. He stopped looking at Facebook in front of me completely, and I asked a few times, but he always changed the subject. To note, he is chipping in 1/2 of everything financially, but not chore-wise. A few months ago, we were looking at YouTube videos on his phone, and an alert popped up about a Facebook message from her. He made an offhand comment to the affect that "she sends me crude photos and videos." Now here is where I did the wrong thing. I checked his Facebook from his computer, where he was always logged in. I saw such disgusting videos of naked women, references to dildos, oral sex, etc. coming in direct messages from her. I confronted Joe, under the guise of him telling me that she was sending him crude photos and videos, and asked him to tell her to stop since I didn't like it. He flipped out, changed the subject, and then said he'd delete his Facebook account. I told him I didn't want him to delete his account, just tell her to stop the filthy messages. He said he wouldn't do that, he'd just delete his account. He's since re-activated his account. BUT he hides it 100% from me, doesn't get any alerts at all on his phone anymore. I horribly looked at his computer, and he's not logged in anymore, but when he looks at his email in bed I see his notifications from Facebook, which he quickly swipes away. I've asked him several times about her, why I haven't met her if she's such a good friend, and he says that its because she lives 2 hours away. We've visited people 3 hours away, 17 hours away, etc. I'm ready to end this over someone I've never even met. Not because I think he's cheating physically, but because he won't be honest with me. Am I being unreasonable?

I met someone in a chatroom that I was in. He lives states away. I had no intention on meeting someone. However we just clicked. Continued our conversation in private. Within hours he gave me his phone number. Normally I am very hesitate about contacting people online. But I had no hesitation. We talked on the phone for a long time. Then continued at night and talked for 4 hours. Nothing really sexual. Just chatting. Then the next day we talked for a total of 8 hours.We text and talked on the phone all weekend. Our connection was so incredibly strong. And by day three he told me he loved me. I felt the same. We both were done with relationships before we met. I am a single mom. Haven’t had an official boyfriend in ten years. It’s hard to explain our connection and everything we’ve talked about however he was a player and admitted that opening before we got serious. He says I made him a one woman man. He wants to marry me and have kids. He has talked to my daughter. Another thing I’m very hesitant and protective about but had no hesitation with him. We’ve had fights because I feel like this is too good to be true. We haven’t met. I’m going to see him in April. I was supposed to in February but we got into a fight. He plans on moving to me in a couple months. I’d prefer he wait until we meet in person anyway. We text, talk on phone and FaceTime often so I don’t think it’ll be much different but it could be. He knows I’m insecure and it makes it ten times worse since he’s far away. He’s constantly reassuring me I’m it for him. He’s found the one. And I feel the same and have pulled back in sharing my insecurities. There’s wonderful feelings I have for him but also feelings of distrust I have for him. This is kind of all over the place but I’ve wanted to give some background. My question is...Can people fall in love in three days and have a lasting relationship? It’s almost a fairytale. The night he entered the chat I was asleep and the next morning I was busy at work. I hopped on on my lunch break and he said he wanted to get to know me immediately. And he said before I entered the chat he almost left but there was a fellow military man in there he felt bad for and kept talking to him. So we almost missed each other which makes it even more crazy.

My husband and I have a pretty decent sex life. It's often, but we can sometimes be a bit lazy when it's been a long day. About a year ago, I found out that he was following a ton of porn accounts on every social media account that he owns. I started snooping after feeling uneasy about his time in the bathroom. After discussing it, he deleted the accounts. I tried to go along with it to be the "cool wife," even though it honestly made me feel inadequate and also disgusted by him. He insisted that they were old accounts that he had no interest in and deleted them, though. A few nights ago, I was trying to find a bookmarked website on our laptop when I saw a few porn pages bookmarked. Apparently, his phone somehow linked with the laptop, because I realized I was in Mobile bookmarks. I didn't outright let him know what I found, but I sat him down and finally told him truly how him watching porn made me feel (without accusing him of anything). He started to get slightly defensive, but didn't. By the end of the conversation, I'd gathered that he wasn't watching it anymore. Today, I was going to see if a picture that I tagged him in on IG shared, because my phone was being dumb. Instead, I saw that he had recently followed nearly 100 more accounts than when I saw his profile last. There were nearly 100 porn accounts that weren't there after our conversation recently. In fact, some of them weren't even porn accounts. They were normal women's accounts who happened to wear skimpy outfits sometimes. A couple of them were girls who are local strippers. I am so sick, physically and with the relationship. I'm not sure if I should tell him what I found and try to have a civil conversation (again) about it and try to work through it, sleep in separate rooms until he gets it together, or just leave for a little while. I know this is so drawn out, but I'm at a loss. I cannot compete with the looks of these women, and I don't want to feel like I have to.

Hello I've been dating this guy for a year now and I recently found out he has another gf I saw pics on her Instagram of both of them in different dates and what's worse on valentines he was with her and she bought him an ungraved bracelet which he wears every day and he bought her a present I didn't get anything and we haven't taken pics or gone out together and I asked him about it he said he loves me as well but I think I'm his side chick though I have met his friends and we spend more time together but I think it's because she lives abit for I haven't been myself since like I'm angry and upset and I feel like he doesn't love me though he says he doesn't want me to leave I'm just confused and he even blocked me on Facebook and whenever I ask him about it he doesn't say anything what should I do

My husband and I have been married for over a decade. I recently found out he enjoys entertaining other women on social media. When I asked him about his activities he offers no apology or remorse. He is still Facebook friends/followers with a few of the women in question. I no longer trust him. The hurtful thing about it all, he doesn’t even care. I have allowed myself to be disrespected for far too long! I am done.

I've been single for five years, almost six. I'm a single mom to an awesome boy but my love life sucks so bad. I have so much love to give and no partner to give it to. I've been online dating with okay results, met some nice guys but at the end they just stop talking to me, ghost out on me, and I never hear from them again. Then I had one who we talked for three months and just turned out to be so mean, calling me weird, and wishing the next guy who puts up with me luck. WHY? What am I doing so wrong? I'm down to earth, I don't do the texting constantly or calling, plus nowadays people don't talk on the phone. I give people their personal space, I understand boundaries, so why the mean comments? I know god has a plan for me and I shouldn't rush things. I just don't know what's going on.

My husband spends no time with me. All his free time he spends flirting and sex chatting with other girls. The only time he spends with me is when we are in the bedroom and then I dont even do it for him. How an I supposed to give my all in the bedroom and give him what he wants if he has no time for me? Every time I try to talk to him about this he turns it around on me and at the end of it all I feel that I have done something wrong. He sometimes even tells them private things that is meant for just us. I feel betrayed and I cant voice this to him as he is not doing anything wrong. My husband’s ex posted their wedding picture in a video. He's asked her to remove his pictures from the video because he feels it is just inappropriate for it to be on public social media. It's been taken 30 years ago and they have been separated and divorces for 13 years. She left for another man and is common law with him for 13 years now. Almost longer than they have been together. There are 6 people in this photo 3 have passed away, he's is divorced from her and the only to surviving are her and her dad. This is done with motive, it’s an act of spite because he doesn't want to have anything to do with her. The kicker is she posted it publicly on social media for him to see and not privately for friends and fam. He has written to her and asked to remove that photo from the video and to not post any pictures of him on Public Social Media. If he would have known this 13 years ago, he would have made it part of his separation agreement. Times are changing new laws must be made to protect people’s privacy rights. we are not an item, property or dogs... we are people who have rights and feelings and it should be respected! What does everyone think about this?

Since the first year at college there was a very nice and attractive boy in my class thad i had crush on him since day one but I didn’t want to think about him because im that type of girl who will not show my feelings for anyone untill they have for me and show it to me, and he was that type of boy who wasnt talked to any girl and didnt stay in university after the lecture - starught forward he goes to home and 4 years in university i dont believe that he talked 4 sentences to any girl. Years passed by untill the last year , year by year i was more in love with him but didnt let my self to show it for him. Sometimes i got very sad that he doesnt know anything about my feelings , and he was just looking at nice girls with a smile only not more i was one of them who he sometimes looked at me and smiles at me , (but i wasnt the only one who got his smile ) :D Anyways last year of my university another boy in my class asked for a relationship with me. At first i never thought of him someday that we will be a lover but he tried so much and i needed him to pass in my last year it was very difficult my department so he was very clever i was agreed just because to pass and somehow fall in love with him. So now i’m with this boy he is not my type that i want , and we fight too much about little things because our mindset somehow not near , but at the same time i can not leave him because he loves me so much and do everything that i like and want. My wife has been constantly on her phone messaging other men for about three years now, 8 to 12 hours a day. It all started when she joined a game called coin master. She got involved in the groups via Facebook - her phone was going off every second of the day. We have two kids, boy 5 and girl 3. She started receiving a lot of WhatsApps and talking to men mainly about the game (she said). She was receiving calls in the morning and in the evening and said they were her friends and I should stop going on at her even though she was neglecting the kids. We went on a two-week holiday beginning of August 2019, she was on her phone constantly then a week when we got back - she said she had been invited to a coin master group party. I was very suspicious but in the end I said yes. It wasn't till January 2020 I decided to check her phone (wrong I know). I discovered she had cheated on me twice using party as excuse. I was very hurt and felt so bad as I just didn't know what to believe. We managed to sort it out and move on for a while. She deleted the game and got rid of Facebook. March 2020 she started playing Mafia City and again has not only handed out her number to people all around the world but been receiving dirty pics and possibly landed herself in debt as she has been using her credit card to play this game. When I confront her, she says its none of my business and I can pack my stuff and get out. She has a terrible temper. I've tried to help her to tell me about money lost which is about 8 grand and she claims it's fraud which she won't act on. It's too suspicious as it's apple .com. This time it's worse - texting and playing all through the day and night, does nothing for the kids, rarely speaks to any of us, just smirks at her phone screen. I cant leave as I'm worried for the kids. If she gets them they will not get anything or go out anywhere. She can't even wash their clothes as she's on the phone, or do any of their school stuff. I do everything for them. I've never seen phone addiction so bad. These social media and games can be very dangerous in the wrong hands people, prey on the weak. She even has told people that I attack her to get sympathy or just attention. I'm so lost. I really don't know what to do in this situation. She's becoming so dangerous and will run this family into the ground by end of the year. Any advice?

May you please help me out? I don't know what's the problem, maybe it's me overthinking or something else. I'm in a relationship with my partner, and I caught him flirting with girls twice a year. From there I lost trust and I never recovered from that incident. Okay, he has female friends and even now I don't trust him when he's around them, and I hate it when he makes comments about them like giving compliments, sometimes making jokes about them that they're single. And I told him how I feel about that, but all these things just add up. I just don't trust him when he's around females at all. I did forgive him about the flirting but I just can't get over it. Another thing - we used to post each other on social media but he stopped. I confronted him and he told me that it's not his thing, he doesn't like posting pictures, and yes that's true but my question was why you gave me a wrong idea when we started dating. Why didn't you come out straight? And I stopped posting him as well even though it wasn't easy but I didn't want to look like a fool or be desperate, although I really like posting. Any suggestions on how I can deal with my situation would be much appreciated. Thank you.
