I started dating this guy, we'll call him "Joe" about two years ago. For the first few months of dating, everything was great as it usually is in the beginning. I did notice that he had a lot of female friends on Facebook. I don't have a Facebook account, but he used to scroll through it on his phone with me next to him. One day, about a month or two into our relationship, he was at my house and received a call and spoke with a female friend of his who was in a female prison or halfway house. I tried not to listen in, but at the end of the call he said (right in front of me, not hiding anything) "I love you! Bye!" He then told me a sad story about this woman who had been his friend for decades, who had been incarcerated for holding drugs. He said that she didn't do anything wrong, and he "had no reason not to believe her." I think that is naive of him, but whatever. He told me they had never been romantically involved. He told me he was sending her some money, and that she was looking for an iPod or something for music. I had an old iPod, but it wasn't new enough for her, in his opinion. Over the next few months, he kept talking about her, explaining how they met, how his friend had dated her. He told me about her ex-husband and children. He told me how she'd looked the last time her saw her (how she looked like she was on drugs, etc.). When we were together for about five months, she was released. She messaged him through Facebook while we were at my house, and they had a little back and forth, exchanging numbers. He did say that he was "at his girlfriends house," and showed me her picture, saying she used to be prettier. Since then, he's completely stopped talking about her. I started noticing when we were scrolling through his Facebook that her name kept popping up in posts and messages, and he would quickly swipe them away. Fast forward to now - I bought a house, and he's moved in. He stopped looking at Facebook in front of me completely, and I asked a few times, but he always changed the subject. To note, he is chipping in 1/2 of everything financially, but not chore-wise. A few months ago, we were looking at YouTube videos on his phone, and an alert popped up about a Facebook message from her. He made an offhand comment to the affect that "she sends me crude photos and videos." Now here is where I did the wrong thing. I checked his Facebook from his computer, where he was always logged in. I saw such disgusting videos of naked women, references to dildos, oral sex, etc. coming in direct messages from her. I confronted Joe, under the guise of him telling me that she was sending him crude photos and videos, and asked him to tell her to stop since I didn't like it. He flipped out, changed the subject, and then said he'd delete his Facebook account. I told him I didn't want him to delete his account, just tell her to stop the filthy messages. He said he wouldn't do that, he'd just delete his account. He's since re-activated his account. BUT he hides it 100% from me, doesn't get any alerts at all on his phone anymore. I horribly looked at his computer, and he's not logged in anymore, but when he looks at his email in bed I see his notifications from Facebook, which he quickly swipes away. I've asked him several times about her, why I haven't met her if she's such a good friend, and he says that its because she lives 2 hours away. We've visited people 3 hours away, 17 hours away, etc. I'm ready to end this over someone I've never even met. Not because I think he's cheating physically, but because he won't be honest with me. Am I being unreasonable?

My husband and I have been married for over a decade. I recently found out he enjoys entertaining other women on social media. When I asked him about his activities he offers no apology or remorse. He is still Facebook friends/followers with a few of the women in question. I no longer trust him. The hurtful thing about it all, he doesn’t even care. I have allowed myself to be disrespected for far too long! I am done.

I really need some advice as I think I’m going to go mad if I don’t speak to somebody. I’ve been with my boyfriend for a year, we are madly in love, my children love him. We have an ok sex life (more foreplay than anything). Recently I’ve discovered messages to trans women saying how they’re his dream woman and he masturbates over their pics. Also lots of pictures of trans women and emails saying he’s joined a trans search. I’ve spoken to him about it and he says it’s nothing and that he loves me and only me and he will spend his life proving it, but I can’t get it out of my head as much as I want to believe him. My husband has been having conversations with women he has met at various places. Obviously he has added them on messenger or vice versa, either way they have both accepted an invitation to chat. I have seen parts of the conversations due to him not realising i had access to his messenger account, parts of the messages dont flow properly so bits of conversation have been deleted. I have asked him why he would delete parts of a conversation and he has said it was probably just rubbish they were chatting about!! Why delete it if its nothing? He says its all in my head and i am making this bigger than what it is!! I confronted one of the women who informed me he had asked for her phone number so they could chat over whatsapp instead of messenger?? When i had confronted him he then started a secret conversation within messenger with both the women involved almost at the same time. Am i being paranoid ? I have asked for a separation and started the ball rolling with selling our house but this is killikng me.. we have a 6 yr old daughter stuck in the middle of this.

My wife of 10 years has been playing an online game I recently found out she has been messaging several other men very explicit text and photos she lied to me constantly for a week or so until I had absolute proof she has seemed like it was not a big deal and has hardly any remorse. Up to this point in our relationship everything was excellent we work together and live together and no problem at all. I know she loves me too but I can't feel it from her she just wants to move forward like it was nothing. Now yesterday I found out she was messaging people she was in high school with. Including 3 men that she's never seen or messaged or anything else for 32years am I wrong for thinking that this is unacceptable she says it's her friend well I have friends too but I talk to them even if it has been a year or so she has no idea of what these people are doing or anything please help us is she doing something wrong or AM I wrong for being upset about it they aren't friends or even association's they are people she went to school with I would be a little more understanding about it if she had kept in contact but she hasn't help me please thank you.

Basically I have been with my guy for just over 4 years. We worked together also. The past year covid aside has been pretty crap for me so it has had probably a bit of an impact on our relationship. I lost my mum and then my own health took a nose dive so there wasn't alot of intimacy for a few months because of it. He always maintained he was fine with it because of the circumstances and I never had any reason to think he didn't mean what he said. I've never once thought the whole time we have been together that he would even look at another girl and for me to say that its big considering I went through a horrible relationship a few years ago where my bf at the time cheated on me all the time. But with my guy I just always kinda thought nah no way would he do anything like that. I used to think that anyway until recently. He gave me his phone one night to set a wallpaper for him (it was a new phone and he didn't have a clue) so when I was doing that I came across pictures of other girls on his phone. They weren't particularly flirty or anything just standard selfies. I recognised these girls from work. One is only 19 and he's in his early 40s so right away I was like erm what the hell. Because of this I did what I never thought I would be doing and I looked at his messages. I no breach of privacy and all that but understand up until seeing them pictures in the 4 years we have been together I have never looked through his phone not even once! I found texts to these girls from work and they were quite flirty one even referred to him cracking one off because of her and him saying how he would struggle to work with one fully functioning arm. Also the one to the 19 year he was saying how if he was younger he would be chasing after her. He didn't say in that text if he was single he would be chasing after no it was if he was younger. He's also said that they 2 r his favourite people and even in the message said I come after them. He's also been texting some other girls including exes and they r also quite flirty. I asked him about the pictures and the texts and he just laughed it off saying that they are friends and that he won't b stopping texting them the way he does and that I need to stop being so stupid when I told him I felt so disrespected he just said well a don't know why I haven't done anything wrong then he went on to say if I didn't shut up about it he would leave the house and not speak to me the rest of the day. Even writing this I know I make myself sound like a complete push over and to a certain extent I probably am. Now I'm miserable all the time and I think all the time is he cheating or is he thinking about it. Realistically I know I can't do anythin to stop him if thats what he is going to do hes going to do it regardless. At the moment I am more let down with his reaction to me asking him about it. The way he just laughed me off and didn't seem to care about how he had made me feel. That and the fact I need to face these girls at work knowing now that they are messaging my guy flirty messages they must be laughing their heads off at me. I just dont know how to deal with what's happening having been in this situation before I know how it will probably end. I I feel like all he has done is lie to me. I have caught on to it this time but how many other times has there been that I haven't known about. Has he actually cheated on me with someone else in the past. My mind is awash with all these negative things towards him now I dont know how I can get past it. We have had a really good relationship and he was there for me for alot but I'm just wondering if it was all a lie is he lining someone else up to replace me because of the bad time we have had. My wife has been constantly on her phone messaging other men for about three years now, 8 to 12 hours a day. It all started when she joined a game called coin master. She got involved in the groups via Facebook - her phone was going off every second of the day. We have two kids, boy 5 and girl 3. She started receiving a lot of WhatsApps and talking to men mainly about the game (she said). She was receiving calls in the morning and in the evening and said they were her friends and I should stop going on at her even though she was neglecting the kids. We went on a two-week holiday beginning of August 2019, she was on her phone constantly then a week when we got back - she said she had been invited to a coin master group party. I was very suspicious but in the end I said yes. It wasn't till January 2020 I decided to check her phone (wrong I know). I discovered she had cheated on me twice using party as excuse. I was very hurt and felt so bad as I just didn't know what to believe. We managed to sort it out and move on for a while. She deleted the game and got rid of Facebook. March 2020 she started playing Mafia City and again has not only handed out her number to people all around the world but been receiving dirty pics and possibly landed herself in debt as she has been using her credit card to play this game. When I confront her, she says its none of my business and I can pack my stuff and get out. She has a terrible temper. I've tried to help her to tell me about money lost which is about 8 grand and she claims it's fraud which she won't act on. It's too suspicious as it's apple .com. This time it's worse - texting and playing all through the day and night, does nothing for the kids, rarely speaks to any of us, just smirks at her phone screen. I cant leave as I'm worried for the kids. If she gets them they will not get anything or go out anywhere. She can't even wash their clothes as she's on the phone, or do any of their school stuff. I do everything for them. I've never seen phone addiction so bad. These social media and games can be very dangerous in the wrong hands people, prey on the weak. She even has told people that I attack her to get sympathy or just attention. I'm so lost. I really don't know what to do in this situation. She's becoming so dangerous and will run this family into the ground by end of the year. Any advice?

I met a girl online in August of last year and we became friends. A couple of months later I started to have feelings for her. She was there for me when my father was in the hospital and we became closer. In early November I told her I had feelings for her and she told me she liked me too afterwards our messages became more flirty and showed more romantic interest. In early December I found out that one of the guys we hung out with who I thought she was just friends with was her boyfriend. It's kind of complicated – she never said he was her boyfriend but I knew he liked her but didn't know she liked him or that they were together – I know I'm a bad friend for not knowing that. After I found out and confronted her, I said goodbye and walked away – well, tried to walk away. My father ended up in the hospital again in mid December and she found out and messaged me she messaged me again on new years and again on my birthday and I messaged her on her birthday –they are both in March. We have kind of started to talk again but I don't know what to do I don't want to get hurt again because I still have feelings for her. She is still with her boyfriend as far as I know but she still shows interest in me. I have shared some of the things that she said and did with some other people and they have all said the she definitely showed signs of interest and she obviously wouldn't let me leave. I just don't know what to do. I would like to be just friends with her but my feelings make it too hard and I know I'll end up leading myself on and get hurt again. What should I do?

I have been with this man 10-12 years. He is great to my kids and now we have two of our own. He is a great dad. We haven't had sex in over a year. He says he loves me even though he has cyber-cheated which to me is the same thing. He wont talk about it and refuses to go to therapy. His sex drive has never matched mine. I have been in a loving and wonderful marriage for seven years and been together with my husband for 13 years now. We have three amazing children, one is under 14 months old. My husbands work takes him on tour. I was turning some music on spotify on my husbands phone recently when I saw a WhatsApp message from a girl called x saying 'happy sunday gorgeous'. I told my husband straight away I had seen it. He looked guilty and said oh that's a girl called 'x' who we both studied with and I remember her being a little bit obsessive over my then boyfriend. I just assumed he was telling the truth. He has since been very protective over his phone and snaps if I go anywhere near it... I have recently discovered by looking at x's profile picture that it's definitely not the girl from our college days and a new person he has clearly taken the mobile number of while he has been away working. I feel like we have/had a great relationship and I'm wondering why he feels the need to take the mobile number of another women and then lie about it. Feel a bit concerned.
